Preparation Tips for CET Entrance Examination

BBA in Aviation is a 3- year undergraduate program that deals with passenger forecasting, airport security, and many more. The BBA program covers numerous subjects like human resources, marketing, accounting and it also gives an insight into how the fascinating world of the aviation industry works.

The admission to BBA in Aviation is mostly done based on merit that is through the scores (minimum of 50% overall) acquired in the Class XII examination. The scores are first evaluated, then the shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview and if they get selected they receive an offer letter to take admission.

But to get enrolled for the BBA in Aviation Program in some government and private aviation colleges, aspirants need to clear Entrance Examinations. Some of the popular entrance examinations related to the BBA in aviation program are CET, SET, and UGAT etc.

Today I am going to briefly discuss CET Entrance Examination and will share some tips on how to prepare for it so that you can successfully crack it to pursue your dream aviation course.

The Common Entrance Test (CET) is a national-level entrance examination conducted to provide opportunities to students seeking admission into various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs in various professional colleges of India. 

CUCET-The Central Universities Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Central University of Rajasthan to select students for various undergraduate, postgraduate and undergraduate courses offered by the Central Universities of India. It must be noted that the eligibility criteria may vary for different programs, so aspirants need to check carefully the eligibility criteria on the university website before taking this examination. For the undergraduate program, aspirants are required to clear the 10+2 exam with 50% marks from the Central or state board examination, and for post-graduate programs, a bachelor’s degree is required with a minimum of 55% from affiliated universities to sit for this particular Entrance Examination. 

BVP CET is an university-level entrance examination is organized by Bharati Vidyapith Deemed University; Pune which was accorded deemed university status in 1996 for its academic excellence in programs offered in innovative and emerging areas.

NOW, I am going to share some preparation tips for CET Entrance Examination to pursue a BBA in Aviation Operations, one of the popular Aviation Courses that can help you to start your aviation journey with flying colors.
 
→  Start preparation well ahead: You must start preparing for the Entrance Examination simultaneously with your board exam preparation. To crack any examination successfully, prior preparation is the key.  Start preparing for the Entrance Examination well ahead of time. Most of the Entrance Exams are conducted approximately between the month’s May - July after the board exam. So, start pulling up your socks at least 5-6 months before the examination is due.
 
→  Start with basics: The Entrance Examination for BBA is a basic aptitude and management test. The questions mainly comprise the concepts which we have learned in classes 5-10, including mathematics. So candidates need to go back to the basics. They need to practice mathematics daily and need to learn the formulas and theories very well. They can make short notes on various topics which would make their preparation easy.

→  Practice makes a man perfect: Practicing as many sample papers and if possible at least the last five year’s question papers will help aspirants as they would have a clearer idea about the pattern of questions and what topics they need to focus more on. Regular practice would also reduce the chances of incorrect attempts.

→  Focus on General Knowledge: General Knowledge is an important part of these exams. So, aspiring candidates must start reading newspapers and magazines regularly to keep them updated about the world’s current trends and news. History, Geography, and basic science are also included in the general knowledge section of the Entrance Examination

→  Accuracy: BBA Entrance Examinations have Negative Marking. So, candidates need to observe the questions very well before marking the answers. It’s better to leave a question than answering it incorrectly.

Last but not least the candidates need to have time management skills because Entrance Examinations are mostly speed-based. Aspirants need to answer around 150 questions in two hours. So the bottom word is “practice”. At home, try to solve as many questions as possible within a 2 hour time frame daily so that the time management skills can be improved.
