Eligibility for taking admission to aviation courses

Many young aspirants dream of joining the Aviation Industry, one of the popular and fastest-growing industries in the world that contributes significantly towards the global economy, job creation, and travel and tourism industry. Moreover, aspirants can start their career at a very young age in the aviation industry which allows them to climb the steps of success quickly in the aviation industry.

Government Aviation Colleges offers a plethora of popular aviation courses like BBA in Aviation Operations, Diploma in Aviation Hospitality and Management,  Commercial Pilot Training, Diploma in Ground Staff and Cabin crew Training, Aeronautical Engineering, MBA in Aviation Management, etc. that the aspirants can opt for to reach the pinnacle of success in the Aviation Industry. Many aviation colleges also offer International Air Transport Association (IATA) authorized courses like Foundation Course in Travel and Tourism, Advanced Cargo rating and Marketing Course, Ground Operations Diploma, etc. to help aspiring candidates seek a global career in the industry.

Today I am going to discuss the eligibility for admission to aviation courses in India.  For most of the aviation courses the eligibility criteria are as follows:
He/ She should have completed 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board 
Should have scored a minimum of 50% overall in their Class 12 board exam. 
Both government and private-run colleges and institutions select the candidates after they have filled up the application form based on their performance in a round of group discussions followed by a personal interview.
But some colleges and institutions conduct Entrance Examinations of their own like NPAT, CET, SET, etc. for BBA in Aviation Programme and GMAT, CAT, CMAT for MBA in Aviation Management Programme to select candidates as per their performance in the Examination. For pursuing MBA in Aviation Management program candidates must have completed a graduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

To opt for  Aviation courses like Commercial Pilot Training, Aeronautical Engineering candidates need to clear 10+2 examinations with Science stream ( must have Physics, Chemistry, and Maths) with an aggregate of 50%. To be deemed eligible for the Commercial pilot program, candidates must clear a written exam, pilot aptitude test, and an interview. Aeronautical Engineering candidates are required to clear Entrance Examinations like JEE Advanced, JEE Main, NATA, etc. to take up this course.

Last but not least candidates need to possess very good communication skills both written and oral to achieve success.
