you should have a very pleasing personality, patience and polite behavior. You have to greet around 300-400 passengers every day with a broad smile on your face and cater to their needs throughout the flight. Also, whether you work with domestic airlines or international emergencies can crop up any time anywhere, be mentally prepared for that. The aviation colleges will train you very well in dealing with such situations, but you also need to prepare yourself very well.

  → You need to be an active listener to understand what your employees or other people are saying, taking time to understand them and giving them advice regarding their problems or issues.  You need to possess critical and logical thinking skills which would help you to approach any problems with alternative solutions logically.

A joint effort is needed in the aviation industry to keep everything running smoothly. So, you need to work together as a team. Also, you need to be dependable because planes fly every day to numerous destinations so airlines need the cooperation of every employee related to the aviation sector to ensure passengers reach safely to their destination. So as an Aviation Manager you need to be reliable, meticulous, diligent, and trustworthy. 

  → Maintaining a pleasant and positive attitude is also very important. Problems can crop up at any time in workplaces. So, keeping a positive attitude is of prime importance. This will help your team to feel confident to solve the issues that may arise.
Adhering to the rules and regulations of the aviation industry is very much required. You also need to make sure others are also abiding by the exact rules and regulations.
